Daddario ESXL110

These strings are the bread and butter. They sound like most other strings but not as good as the new NXYL series, but this are always my good to go strings. No problem putting them on, the ball ends are fine with the coloring, and you can't go wrong with these. The quality is average and they hold up as long or short as any other string brand.

It's the longevity of them, but the sound is better on NXYL strings, but they cost a bit more too, so you get what you pay for. These ones are not "pure nickel" and hasn't got that old vintage sound to them either. They don't have the high end abrasive treble, that can be present on some Stainless Steel strings. It's the perfect in between. I find these to work the best on signle coil passive pickups, like on a Telecaster or Stratocaster.

The quality among string sets (bought repeatedly time after time) are what D'addario is known for. True consistency in quality check. But otherwise, it's just regular strings that are totally problem free.
