Cympad Moderator Double Set Ø 60mm

Bought this to dampen the harmonics and excessive resonance of a 20" ride and I'm not astonished by the results: this basically kills most of the the bell harmonics while not doing much on the edge resonance (which was why I picked this in the first place)

Tried this on a 16" crash and was not really able to tell the difference with and without the moderator.

Works perfect for taming your ride cymbal if it's too washy. Doesn't work that well on crashes. For those of you who don't want any tape on their cymbals.

I'm using these to control the volume and the sustain in the rehearsal room. I've got big cymbals, so those can create a sea of wash when I lay into them. Don't really like though that these cympads mess with the swinging of the cymbals.
