Cecilia Violin Rosin A Piacere

I bought as I wanted to try a rosin of higher quality. I bought in mind that I didn't want a "loud" rosin like the Andrea Solo version. I tested this, by trying to take away as much of my older rosin on my bow. In the end, the sound was a mix of a cheaper Pirastro rosin that I have used for a long time and this Andrea A Piacere Rosin. Although it is hard for me to explain in terms, the sound did indeed improve, while not being "too loud" as I had feared if I had used the Andrea Solo rosin. Very good for small rooms or studios as described by themselves. I recommend it, albeit the price of course is quite expensive. Another setback is the fragility of the rosin. I opened the package and it got powdered/dented around the edges. The package also states that it is apparently not good if you have certain skin allergies. Be careful if you have. It is a peculiar rosin that perhaps get less attention than the Andrea Solo, but I recommend it for being an allround rosin that you can use in many settings, even in concert halls.
