Buffet Crampon RC Prest. Barrel 65mm Bb-Clar

My student clarinet was finally upgraded from the stock barrel to this buffet one. As a beginner, I've noticed a marked difference in my sound and the ease of playing.

Firstly, compared to the stock barrel, this one makes the notes feel fuller. While playing seems to take slightly more effort, the pay off is worth it, especially for the middle register and throat tones.

Buying a woodwind part can be a hit-or-miss affair, but this Buffet Crampon RC Barrel fits like a dream.

Beautiful tone, very consistent intonation, and it just fits on my R13 without the need to take it to a repair shop for fine adjustment.

May be I am just being lucky, but I tend to think it is due to the stringent standand imposed on every part made by Buffet.

I am now a very happy customer.
