"Compared to a Paxman 3B this is better in every way. The shape of the and size of the rim are much more comfortable so I can practise for longer. It allows easier pitching of notes, they speak more easily and the sound is fuller. Also easier to play low notes and easier to bend all notes. The horn now sounds more German!" Says my son. Used with Paxman 23, to me as a listener the sound is more organic with a vocal quality. Downside is that he is inspired to play every day far too late in the evening!
