Its rare but sometimes I got quite surprised. I'm an bit old and have worked most of my life with music, recordings, acoustics and electronics. I am not whats called an "audiophile" but do have some reasonable playback gear. Suddenly I got the idea of making an old "Intel Atom" powered netbook the "source" for playback. It was a bit of challenge to turn off just everything in Win 10 to get the netbook to respond.....Then installing Foobar and the Wasapi direct output addon for bypassing all internal audio. Searching the net for a cheap Usb Dac I found this, mostly positive rewived. The result was impressive. This cheap little box outperforms my 3 different midpriced 1bit/bitstream CD players from 1989-92. But just a reservation; my hearing is good to 10 khz, then my age make it dimish fast........
