Bare Knuckle BC True Grit ST NE BK

When I received the HB lap steel I knew I wanted to upgrade the tuners and all electronics.
So after some research I decided to upgrade my Harley Benton lap steel guitar with this pick-up.
At the same time I also replaced the mini potentiometers with the Fender 250K Control Solid Shaft versions and a Switchcraft 1/4" Mono Jack.
The Bare Knuckle Boot Camp True Grit ST NB (neck - black) pickup was a huge improvement over the stock ceramic pickup, it sounded much fuller and warmer. It gave that particular single coil sound one, or at least me, is always looking for.
I selected the neck version as most of the time I play this lap steel guitar fairly clean with no heavy overdrive or distortion, although this would work well also. I love the full tone and at this price I am very satisfied with the results. For my second and third Harley Benton lap steel guitars I will select this brand again.
