Having just purchased the s10 it was a risk with it being a new product with very little reviews etc. However, unboxing it and revealing the premium quality of the unit itself I was impressed.
Turning it on and connecting to my phone via Bluetooth was probably the quickest and most easiest I have ever came across and I am a speaker nut.
The sound was instantly powerful and on the warmer side so the bass was felt straight away. I have connected to my laptop and my dj gear and the DSP setup in this unit is very well done as you get that lovely low frequency hum at low volumes which I am a fan of very much. I have a Naim MuSo and that is tuned the same.
In a very large room you can crank it to full (if you dare) and even on bass heavy house music, there was no distortion and the bass does not tale off AT ALL. You can literally feel it. And clarity from the tweeter is there to match the output of the 2 10s.
To say i like this speaker is an understatement. I have tried with Bluetooth and xlr input but have not tried instruments or anything like that but I would imagine there would be no issues with that.
If I could suggest improvements going forward I would like a rubber coated aluminium surround frame for durability so to avoid scuffing the nice finishing.
Some feet on the end so you could place it vertically on a surface would be cool also. I have just purchased some self adhesive feet online for £3.99 so I have fixed that no problems.
One final thing would be a pole mount for a speaker stand just incase the occasion called for it. I have a hk audio move 8 to pair with this and it just would have been nice to pole mount the 2 units.
I don't know why but I can't stop looking at the S5 now because I'm intrigued how good you have made 2 5 inch woofers sound as the 10s are absolutely banging.
