Använder i hemmastudiomiljö tillsammans med två stycken Adam P22-A. Håller för höga ljudvolymer och är lätt att få att samspela med övriga monitorer. Tänk på att detta är en väldigt stor sub.
Great subwoofer for a large home studio. All functions work well, and the quality is german=great. I do lack an adjustable phase shift for phasing issues with satellite monitors. All in all very happy with it.
I have had 300 euro sub and was performing good and I also was expecting for this one to perform much more better but they are not so far. I am not sure if this is for every serie of this model but our sub makes a weird noise on some bass frequencies.
This subwoofer pairs very nicely with A7X monitors which I have 2 sets of, both working alongside one of these. They work together seamlessly.
Overall it's a very clean sounding Sub (like everything Adam Audio) with decent features and premium build quality - one look in real life is enough to tell it's all premium quality.
One feature I'd like to have is a variable satellite passthrough crossover filter instead of single value toggle on/off. However that one value does work great with a pair of A7Xs for which I believe this Sub is meant to be used with.
Pros:
- Price to quality/features ratio
- Sounds great at anything above 35 Hz
- Power saving feature
- Premium build quality
Cons:
- Below 30 Hz it feels more like a rumble (however... it's rated for 28 Hz so it does what it promises exceptionally well)
- No fine tuning of the satellite filter (to be fair nothing at this price point does that)
