Adam Hall 87551 Rack Tray 19" 1HE

i got this for a DVD player that i wanted to house in my Thon desktop 4U rack. the player is only half-width, and isn't made to take mounting brackets so this was my next-best solution. it's a simple thing, but quite hefty for what it is. it has a lip around the back edge to stop things sliding out and is made from heavy-gauge steel finished in black.
it *doesn't* include mounting screws; so make sure you have some available..
the finish seems like it can put up with use without becoming badly scratched too easily; but i guess that depends on how gentle you are with your gear. happy to recommend!

I have been using this rack tray for several years now and I am still satisfied with this product. It is built very stable and I can't imagine how it could get seriously damaged in regular use. It has got some scratches over the years but it's surely still doing its job.
I used it to place some guitar effect pedals and a power supply in my rack. I used self-adhesive velcro tape, which sticks to the surface very well.
This product delivers, what you would expect from a rack tray.
One disadvantage which comes with its stability is its weight. You should be aware, that this tray is quite heavy.
